Do you need to submit a handwritten assignment to Canvas but don't have a scanner? The directions below will guide you through using the OneDrive iOS/Android mobile app for creating a PDF scan of your papers using your smartphone's camera.

The OneDrive mobile app is available on the Google Play (Android) and iOS (iPhone) app stores.

Scanning A Document

Open the OneDrive app on your mobile device.
Sign in with your PBA Microsoft 365 Account (Same login for Canvas and myPBA).
Select the camera button in the app.

Set the capture mode to DOCUMENT and press the white capture button.
Review the detected boarder.
- If the detected border is correct, select Confirm.
- If the border is not correct, move it with your finger until it is correct, then select Confirm.
If you need to scan additional pages, select the Add + button and repeat steps 4 & 5.
- When finished, select the blue arrow button.
If you are satisfied with the preview of your scanned page(s), select Done.
Rename your file at the top of the screen.
Select where you want to save the file.
When ready, select the blue checkmark to save your scanned page(s) as a PDF to your PBA OneDrive.
- Tip: Make sure you know where you saved the file so you can find it later.

After you scan your document, you will need to download it from OneDrive and upload the file to the Canvas assignment.
